The theme of the Intramurals was "Kakayahang Walang Kapantay: Lakas at Determinasyon Tungo sa Tagumpay ng Bagong Henerasyon". Everyone who participated fought with all their strength and determination, and through their efforts, they inspired other players to strive for the best.
In each game the athletes competed in, a flame is burning inside them. This burning flame symbolized their desire to reach the top of the podium. In the end, only one player stood at the top, the deserving winner.
Even those who didn't participate still enjoyed because we watched some games, like the basketball tournament and the dancesport competition. We watched an intense basketball game between Grade 12 Maroon Sparrows and the Grade 12 TVL team, if I am not mistaken. In the end, the Grade 12 Maroon Sparrows won as the basketball champions. For the dancesport competition, we supported our classmate who was a player. She may not have won, but we are really proud of her for competing with so much courage and confidence.
Watching the games with my friends was fun. I also appreciate the teachers who allowed us to go and watch the games. Intramurals isn't just for the players but also for the people who enjoy watching sports. Every game was exciting and mesmerizing, and I truly admire the athletes for being so confident playing in front of a crowd. It's a great experience, especially when you're with friends who make everything more fun. This year's Intramurals was fun, and I hope next year's will be just as fun.
